The long straight is finally done, at least as far as
grading and ballasting goes. (looking east.) A water-
tight container now holds tools and supplies. The two
hopper cars are in the process of being painted.
But one cannot help notice that leaves are beginning
to fall. Also notice the big rock to the left. This is
the largest rock we had to deal with. Boy were we lucky.
The beginning of the west end of the loop.
This is at the southwest corner.
This curve goes into quite a nice little cut.
Also. I built up the grade crossing on the wheelbarrow road.
Now that both hopper cars are in the paint shop, the wheelbarrows
must do all the hauling.
